Chapter 1: Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

  1. The purpose of these terms is to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Clebrain Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) and members regarding the digital content and ancillary services provided by the Company.
  2. In the event of any discrepancy between the English translation and the original Korean text, the original Korean text shall prevail.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in this agreement are defined as follows:

  1. “User” refers to members and non-members who use the “Content” and ancillary services according to the Company's terms.
  2. “Member” refers to a “User” who has entered into a usage agreement with the “Company,” has been assigned a “Member ID,” and can continuously use the services provided by the “Company.”
  3. “Non-member” refers to a person who uses the services provided by the “Company” without being a “Member.”
  4. “Content” refers to materials expressed in symbols, characters, voice, sound, images, or videos used on information and communications networks as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph 1 of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc., created or processed electronically to enhance usability.
  5. “ID” refers to a combination of letters or numbers determined by the “Member” and approved by the “Company” for the purpose of identifying the “Member” and using the service.
  6. “Password” refers to a combination of letters or numbers determined by the “Member” and approved by the “Company” to confirm the “Member” matches the “ID” and to protect privacy.
  7. “Score Content” refers to sheet music content provided by the “Company.”
  8. “Learning Content” refers to videos, audio, or other content provided by the “Company” for educational purposes.
  9. “Cash” refers to the value calculated within the “Service” for purchasing “Score Content” by the “User.”
  10. “Subscription Service” refers to a service in which periodic service fees are charged monthly or annually.
  11. “Printing” refers to copying “Content” within the “Service” to tangible media such as paper or digitally as PDFs, images, or videos.
  12. “Digital Score” refers to a device or feature displaying “Score Content” provided by the Company, excluding features for separate storage or “Printing” of the “Score Content.”

Article 3 (Provision of Company Information)

  1. The “Company” shall post the content of these terms, trade name, representative’s name, business address, phone number, email address, business registration number, and telemarketing registration number at the bottom of the online service screen for users’ easy access. The terms shall be made viewable through a connected screen.

Article 4 (Posting and Amending Terms)

  1. The “Company” may amend these terms within the bounds of the “Online Digital Content Industry Promotion Act,” “Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce,” and other relevant laws.
  2. The “Company” installs technical tools allowing “Users” to inquire and respond to the terms with the Company.
  3. Before the “User” agrees to the terms, the “Company” provides a separate connected screen or pop-up containing key information such as withdrawal, refunds, etc., to ensure clear consent.

Article 5 (Amendments to Terms)

  1. When the Company amends the terms, it shall specify the effective date and reasons for the amendments and post the current and revised terms 30 days prior to the effective date. If the changes are unfavorable to the “Member,” the “Company” shall notify them separately through email, electronic messages, or other means.
  2. If a “Member” does not express their opinion within 30 days of being notified about the amendments, their agreement to the changes is assumed.
  3. The Company may make amendments such as correcting typos without prior notice, provided the changes are not unfavorable to the “Member,” and shall notify users of the changes thereafter.

Chapter 2: Membership Registration

Article 6 (Membership Registration)

  1. Users wishing to register as members and use the Company’s services must review and agree to the terms, complete the membership form, and apply for registration.
  2. All information entered by users on the membership form is deemed truthful.
  3. Members who provide false or incorrect information may be restricted from using the service.
  4. Membership can be restricted in cases such as:
    • Not using a real name
    • Misusing others’ personal information
    • Providing false information
    • Violating these terms or related laws

Article 7 (Membership for Minors under 19)

  1. Users under 19 must provide consent from a legal guardian when registering.
  2. Users must provide details such as names and contact information for verification.

Chapter 3: Service Use

Article 9 (Service Use)

  1. Once a service use agreement is established, the member may use the services freely, subject to the Company’s payment policies for paid services.
  2. Minors under 19 must have legal guardian consent for paid services.
  3. Other details are outlined in the “Paid Content Terms of Use.”

Article 10 (Members' Obligations)

  1. Members shall not disclose or distribute paid content to others and may face restrictions for violations.
  2. Members cannot transfer or gift their rights to use services or use them as collateral.

Article 11 (Termination of Use Agreement)

  1. Members wishing to terminate their use agreement must do so through the "Account Settings" > "Withdraw Membership" menu.
  2. Upon termination, the Company will delete the member’s personal information as per the privacy policy.

Chapter 4: Paid Services

Article 13 (Payments and Refunds)

  1. Refund requests will be processed promptly unless restricted by financial regulations or related investigations.

Article 14 (Individual Payments for Scores)

  1. Users may view or print sheet music after individual payments.
  2. Digital sheet music cannot be refunded after use.

Article 15 (Subscription Payments)

  1. Subscription services provide specified benefits such as printable sheet music and content access.

Chapter 5: Privacy

Article 16 (Privacy Protection and Collection)

  1. The Company protects members' personal information according to applicable laws and the privacy policy.
  2. The Company may collect and use mobile device settings for service quality improvements.
