To commemorate the Paris Olympics,

I played Let's Do It (Let's Fall In Love) by Conal Fowkes, from the Midnight In Paris OST.



This song, often performed as a standard jazz piece,

was written by composer Cole Porter,

and in the movie it's a vocal piece with no solo.

The version featured in the film is also just piano and vocals together,

played in Ragtime Stride style.

So the difficulty isn't easy.



I played it in the song form and key of that version

so that a single piano can also carry the vocal melody.



The beginning is played rubato,

then there's a section where the eighth notes are played with a swing feel.



It's comfortable to listen to,

but not necessarily comfortable to play.
